Media Advisory - Media invited to celebrate Humber Valley Golf Course’s 50th anniversary
  
Members of the media are invited to participate in a golf tournament to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Humber Valley Golf Course. Media can join Councillor Paula Fletcher, Chair of the Parks and Environment Committee (Ward 30 Toronto - Danforth), Councillor Rob Ford (Ward 2 Etobicoke North) and City staff to test their skills on the par 70 course, which challenges golfers with its combination of links and valley land holes.

Date: Wednesday, September 10 (rain date: Wednesday, September 17)
Time: 10:30 a.m. (official ceremony); 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (tee times)
Location: Humber Valley Golf Course, 40 Beattie Ave.

Please call Darren Godden, host pro, Humber Valley Golf Course at 416-397-9850 to confirm your attendance by September 8, and indicate yourself as media. The tournament will be scramble format and an awards ceremony will immediately follow.
