Media Advisory: Children Discover Who is Queen of the Forest?
Beijia Lin, who translated Anne of Green Gables into Chinese, and renowned
children's illustrator Mark Thurman, will be at Allan Gardens on Saturday,
November 15 from 2:30 to 3:30 to launch their new book Who is Queen of the
Forest? This is an illustrated children's book adapted from an ancient Chinese
fable about a fox who cleverly saves herself from a tiger by convincing the
tiger that she, not the tiger, is Queen of the Forest.

The original illustrations for the book will be on display for the launch. Ms.
Lin will be reading from the book for the first time to selected guests and to
children from the neighbourhood and Lord Dufferin School.
