civic centre in which the property is located.

To access assessment information, individuals must know either the property's
address or assessment roll number. Individual assessment information is not
available over the telephone.

Beginning mid-January, individuals will be able to access information on all
properties in the city electronically at any of the civic centres, and receive
printouts for $1.00. Please call the City's Assessment Office at 416-396-7285
after January 15 to confirm availability.

Property assessments are prepared by the Ontario Property Assessment
Corporation (OPAC) and are part of the formula used by municipalities to
calculate property taxes. Property owners who do not agree with their
assessment should call OPAC at 1-866-296-6722. Owners will be asked to file a
Request for Reconsideration form. Forms are available at each of the civic
centres.
