Metis Nation flag to be raised at City Hall
  
To commemorate the 115th anniversary of the hanging of Louis Riel, the Metis
Nation flag will be raised on Thursday, November 16 at 9 a.m. at Toronto City
Hall, 100 Queen Street West. A reception in the Members' Lounge will follow the
ceremony.

The flag raising is part of a week of events organized by the Metis Nations of
Ontario, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the City of Toronto that examine
the past history and present-day rights and culture of the Metis nation.
