Community appointments to the Security Committee of the Toronto Housing Company Board of Directors
  
The Toronto Housing Company (THC) is the municipal social housing provider that
manages a portfolio of 28,500 units for seniors, singles and special needs
populations in Toronto. The THC is hosting an Information Session for citizens
interested in joining its Board Security Committee. The Committee is made up of
board members, tenants of the Toronto Housing Company and community members. It
provides recommendations to the Board on security strategies, policies and
issues that have an impact of collective and personal security in THC
communities. The THC has a strong commitment to work in partnership with
tenants and commmittees to develop healthy, secure neighborhoods.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Residents of the City of Toronto.

How to Apply?

1. Attend a public information session on July 19th, 2000 (5:00pm - 10:00pm) at
Doug Saunders Building, 1775 Eglinton Avenue West, Meeting Room A, 2nd Floor.

2. Pick up an information package and application form provided at the
information meeting.

3. Complete the application and send it and your resume to the address provided.

Successful candidates will be selected by the THC Security Advisory Committee
