Toronto Public Health Food Premise Closures

Toronto Public Health today released information on two more food premises.

The Mekong Paradise Restaurant at 4400 Dufferin Street Unit CRUC was closed on
Wednesday May 3, 2000. Toronto Public Health Inspectors closed the food
premise due to an active mouse and cockroach infestation. Roach and mouse
droppings were found in raw ingredients and food.

On Thursday May 4, 2000, Up FRESH Limited at 70 Belfield Road units 24 and 26
was closed. Up FRESH is a processing plant for commercial distribution. The
plant was closed due to a mouse infestation and various sanitation violations.
