Council considers appointment to Toronto Davenport, Ward 21, vacancy on March 1, 2000
  
Toronto City Council will consider the appointment of a person to fill the
vacancy in the office of Councillor, Toronto Davenport, Ward 21. The vacancy
is a result of the recent resignation of Councillor Dennis Fotinos.

Nominees should plan to attend this meeting in order to address City Council.
The successful nominee appointed to fill the vacancy will serve for the
remainder of the term of office which ends on November 30, 2000.

To be eligible for the appointment a nominee must have
- attended the February 21, 2000 information session
- completed a "Consent" form and a "Statement of Qualification" form
- submitted a resume
- be 18 years old
- a Canadian citizen, and
- a resident, owner or tenant of land in the City of Toronto, or the spouse of
an owner or tenant.

Division, North York District Office at (416) 395-7304.

public under the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and the
Protection of Privacy Act.
