Media Advisory: Trinity Square Park Labyrinth Officially Opens
Members of the media are invited to attend the Official Opening Ceremony for
the Trinity Square Park Labyrinth.

DATE: Monday, September 11, 2000

TIME: Official Ceremony: 11 a.m.

LOCATION: Trinity Square Park, Bay Street, South of Dundas Street West,
adjacent to the Toronto Eaton Centre

Councillor Kyle Rae will bring greetings on behalf of the city. Susan
Richardson, Special Projects Director, Toronto Parks and Recreation, will speak
on the project

Music will be provided by Debbie Danbrook, playing the Shakuhachi, a
traditional Japanese Bamboo Flute used in Zen Buddhism.

The Trinity Square Park Labyrinth is the result of a partnership between the
City of Toronto, Holy Trinity Anglican Church and the Toronto Labyrinth
Community Network. The labyrinth is the Network's Millennium Year project, and
is part of a series of Taddle Creek initiatives by Toronto Parks and
Recreation, in partnership with the community.
