Music and Fireworks Highlight the Annual Victoria Day Celebration
At Ashbridges Bay Park, Lake Shore Boulevard East at Coxwell Avenue

The City of Toronto, Mix 99.9 FM, and Toronto Police Services will host an
evening of music and fireworks at Ashbridges Bay Park on Monday, May 22,
starting at 4 pm.

The afternoon and early evening will feature performances by Amanda Marshall,
Great Big Sea, Train, Rubber, Jack Soul and See Spot Run. The evening
culminates in a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display at 9:45 pm.

Ashbridges Bay Park is located on Lakeshore Blvd. East, at the foot of Coxwell
Avenue and is easily accessible by public transit. TTC service will be
increased between Queen Street East and the Bloor-Danforth subway on the
Coxwell (22A), Main (64) and Woodbine South (92A) routes to handle the 100,000+
people expected at the event. It is recommended that you use the TTC and leave
your cars at home!

A limited number of spaces have been set aside for physically-challenged people
and their families in a special viewing area, but disabled parking is not
available.

Please note that City by-laws prohibit the public from setting off fireworks in
the park.
