Work on Queen Street East and Queen Street Bridge To Take Place This Weekend
  
Reconstruction work to the pavement, sidewalks and curbs on Queen Street East,
from Parliament Street to the west limit of the Don River Bridge, will take
place from August 11-15.

As part of the reconstruction, the intersection of Queen Street East and River
Street will be closed to facilitate the construction of the road base and
asphalt surface and to repair the TTC streetcar tracks on the Queen Street
bridge.

Lane closures required as a result of this work are as follows:

-Eastbound and westbound centre lanes on Queen Street, beginning at 7 p.m.,
Thursday, August 10
-Eastbound curb lane on Queen Street East, beginning at 7 a.m.,
Friday, August 11
-Westbound curb lane on Queen Street East, beginning at 9 a.m.,
Friday, August 11
-All lanes on River Street, south of Queen Street, beginning at 7 a.m.,
Friday, August 11
-All lanes on River Street, north of Queen Street, beginning at 9 a.m.,
Friday, August 11
-All lanes on King Street, east of River Street, beginning at 7 a.m.,
Friday, August 11

All lanes, in all directions, will be open no later than 5 a.m., Monday, August
14, except for the streetcar lanes on the Queen Street bridge, which will
re-open on Tuesday, August 15.
