City of Toronto mourns passing of Pierre Elliott Trudeau

As the City of Toronto joins all of Canada in mourning the passing of The Right
Honourable Pierre Elliott Trudeau, Toronto residents are invited to sign a
condolence book at City Hall, 100 Queen Street West. The book, located on the
main floor at City Hall, will be available until shortly after the former Prime
Minister's state funeral.

The City has also lowered its flags to half-mast at City Hall, Metro Hall and
the five Civic Centres.

"On behalf of all of Toronto, I extend my condolences to Mr. Trudeau's family,"
said Mayor Mel Lastman. "Pierre Trudeau was Canada."
