March Break Camp Kids Unveil Giant-Sized Millennium Mural at Nathan Phillips Square

Parks and Recreation Division - Members of the media are invited to attend a
special celebration - the Millennium Mosaic event, on Thursday March 16, 2000
at 12:15 p.m. at Nathan Phillips Square in front of Toronto City Hall. At the
event, hosted by the City of Toronto, a giant-sized mural, created by children
from 96 different camp programs from across the entire City, will be unveiled
by Councillor Chris Korwin-Kuczynski, representatives of the Parks and
Recreation Division, and children attending the City's March Break camp
programs.

Sections of the Millennium Mosaic have been designed and painted by children
participating this week in the City's March Break camp programs. The Mosaic
creatively depicts the children's thoughts, ideas, and feelings about their
parks, communities, recreation activities, and our City.
