Toronto Public Health Closes 16th Food Premise and One More Re-opens

Toronto Public Health - Today Toronto Public Health inspectors closed the
Buffalo II Restaurant at 242 Queen Street East. The restaurant was closed
because of a rat infestation, poor food handling practices, and structural
violations. This is the 16th food premise, including bakeries and grocery
stores, to be closed since the blitz began on February 22, 2000.

The Yamase restaurant at 317 King Street West, originally closed by Toronto
Public Health on March 7, passed a re-inspection and re-opened for business
today.
