Board of Health to Hold Roundtable Discussions on Local Health Issues

Toronto Public Health -- The Toronto Board of Health is sponsoring the second
in a series of community roundtable discussions on health on Monday, September
11 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in four locations across the City of Toronto.

Members of the public are invited to share their observations, concerns and
suggestions with representatives of community groups who will be participating.

The roundtables will set priorities for the health needs identified during the
first discussions held in April and will explore ways for the community to
participate in local health issues. The categories of health needs include
issues involving poverty, ethno-racial diversity, violence, mental health and
environmental concerns.

The discussions will focus on the City's four Public Health regions. To reserve
a seat at one of the four roundtable discussions, call the following numbers:

North York Memorial Community Hall, 5110 Yonge Street, 392-1560 ext. 87152
