TTC Construction at Lakeshore and Bathurst Impacts Traffic Flow Temporarily
  
Works and Emergency Services - Construction work required for the Toronto
Transit Commission's (T.T.C.) Queens Quay LRT Project situated downtown at the
intersections of Lakeshore Blvd. and Bathurst Street will temporarily result in
traffic lane restrictions during the months of March and April. The re-routing
of surface traffic is as follows:

As of March 6, 2000
- Both east and westbound Lakeshore Blvd. - reduced to two (2) lanes only (no
left-turn permitted westbound)
- Both north and southbound Bathurst - restricted to one lane; no left-turn in
either direction

From March 16-20, 2000
- Full closure of eastbound Lakeshore Blvd. from 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 16
until 6:00 a.m. of the following Monday, March 20
- Westbound Lakeshore - two (2) lanes remains open; no left-turn
- Southbound Bathurst - right-turn only (effective March 6-24)
- Northbound Bathurst - no left-turn

March 20-24, 2000
a.m. Traffic
- Eastbound Lakeshore reopens two (2) lanes
- Westbound Lakeshore remains two (2) lanes open, no left-turn (one lane
through; one lane right-turn only)

p.m. Traffic
- Eastbound Lakeshore - one (1) lane open
- Westbound Lakeshore - three (3) lanes open, no left-turn (two lanes through;
one lane right-turn only)

March 24 - April 10, 2000
- Full closure of Fleet Street (runs parallel to Lakeshore connecting traffic
to northbound Bathurst from Lakeshore) - local traffic only - no access to
Bathurst from Fleet
- Southbound Bathurst - no left-turn onto Lakeshore
- Northbound Bathurst - left lane closed but all movements permitted
- Westbound Lakeshore - two (2) lanes open; no right-turn

April 10?14, 2000

- Westbound Fleet Street - one (1) lane only
- Eastbound Fleet Street - closed; no left-turn at eastbound Lakeshore
crossover to Fleet (local traffic only)
- Bathurst Street north of Lakeshore - closed (local traffic to Food Bank only)
