City to launch its employee campaign for United Way with singing competition
  
The City of Toronto will host a singing competition - called City Singers versus TTC Idol Singers - at its 2010 United Way Employee Campaign launch and the unveiling of the fundraising goal.

Date: Tuesday, September 14
Times:
Noon to 12:30 p.m. - Welcoming remarks, cheque presentations, goal announcement and barbecue
12:30 to 2 p.m. - Singing competition
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

CHFI's Erin Davis and Mike Cooper will host the event. The Wise Guys and a member of the Nylons will entertain the crowd and select the winner of the singing contest.

Mayor David Miller, Acting City Manager and Campaign Patron Richard Butts, United Way Toronto's Frances Lankin, and other supporters will also attend.
