Mayor Miller to meet north Toronto residents on Wednesday
Mayor David Miller will offer greetings and meet with residents and community representatives during an open house at Firgrove Community Learning Centre. This open house will feature displays from local community organizations and youth art performances.

Date: Wednesday, March 3

Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Location: Firgrove Community Learning Centre
10 Bluegrass Way (west of Jane Street, south of Finch Avenue)
Directions: Go west on Firgrove Crescent from Jane Street; the learning centre is at the rear of the building that is at 5 Needle Firway.

As part of the series of Meet your Mayor events, the City of Toronto and community partners organized a variety of activities showcasing projects and achievements. The activities have included an art show, displays, performances and a community skate. The March 3 event will conclude the series.

Firgrove Community Learning Centre is a Toronto Community Housing resident-led learning space that
re-opened its doors in March 2009, offering a number of new programs for local residents.
