City to celebrate World No Tobacco Day at local park
Councillor Paula Fletcher (Ward 30 Toronto-Danforth), Chair of Parks and Environment Committee; Jann Houston, Acting Director of Healthy Living with Toronto Public Health; and representatives from Parks, Forestry and Recreation and Toronto Public Health will join members of the community to celebrate “World No Tobacco Day.”

A new smoke-free sign will be unveiled at a special ceremony, indicating that smoking is not permitted within designated play areas at City of Toronto Parks.

Date: Monday, May 31
Time: 12 noon - Events begin, 12:30 p.m. - Ceremony
Location: Withrow Park, south playground,725 Logan Ave.

Members of the public are invited to participate in children's activities and enjoy free healthy snacks at the event.
