Operations preview as City of Toronto prepares for winter's impacts on and beneath city streets |  | | |
The City of Toronto’s Transportation Services and Toronto Water divisions are getting ready for winter. Councillor Jaye Robinson (Ward 25 Don Valley West), Chair of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, will talk about plans for winter operations, including snow clearing and road salting, and responding to watermain breaks and frozen water service pipes.

Photo opportunity: Some of the City’s snow-clearing equipment will be available for photographs, as will samples of old watermains and equipment used to repair broken watermains.
