Mayor Tory to announce employment opportunities for young people in Toronto
Mayor John Tory will announce a series of upcoming job fairs to be held in the spring to help young people secure employment. The Mayor will be joined by Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the City of Toronto's Economic Development and Culture Committee, and Councillor Neethan Shan (Ward 42 Scarborough-Rouge River), the City’s Youth Advocate.

Date: Tuesday, March 6
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Rexdale Community Hub, 21 Panorama Ct.

The job fairs are part of the City's ongoing efforts to work with community partners and private sector employers to connect young people with employment and training opportunities. The youth job fairs are focused on supporting young people ages 16 to 29 but are open to all Toronto residents.
