City of Toronto to honour excellence in volunteering
  
The City of Toronto will honour and recognize volunteers from 10 City-run long-term care homes and community programs for their dedication and service. Deputy Mayor Stephen Holyday (Ward 3 Etobicoke Centre), along with multiple members of City Council, will join award recipients at Monday's Excellence in Volunteering Awards ceremony.

Date: Monday, April 16
Time: Noon to 1 p.m., opening remarks at 12:10 p.m.
Location: Members Lounge, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.
