Media Advisory - Bloor Street Transformation Project to launch |  | | | |
Mayor David Miller and Councillor Kyle Rae (Ward 27 Toronto Centre-Rosedale) will join representatives of the Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area to launch the Bloor Street Transformation Project. The project will include upgrades to the Bloor streetscape between Avenue Rd. and Church St.
The Bloor Street Transformation Project is a privately-funded initiative that will enhance the public realm. The project adds a greening component which will create a vibrant commercial area that is pedestrian and environmentally friendly. The overall results of the Bloor Street Transformation Project will be a world-class shopping district and one of the most welcoming and exquisite streetscapes in Canada.
