City of Toronto to honour recipients of annual garden awards
  
Councillor Norm Kelly (Ward 40 Scarborough-Agincourt), Chair of the Parks and Environment Committee, and City of Toronto staff will present the 14th annual Toronto Garden Awards. The awards recognize residents, businesses and organizations that have contributed to their communities by beautifying privately-owned spaces in the city.

Date: Monday, October 15
Time: Noon to 2 p.m., official remarks at 12:15 p.m.
Location: Members' Lounge, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

There are three categories in the contest:
• Traditional residential
• Environmental residential
• Commercial
