City of Toronto to open new Edithvale Park
  
Councillor John Filion (Ward 23 Willowdale) and City of Toronto staff will join members of the community to celebrate the opening of the new Edithvale Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony and family entertainment.

Date: Saturday, July 21
Time: 2 to 5 p.m. Remarks: 3 p.m.
Location: Edithvale Park, 131 Finch Ave. W.

The event will include a demonstration of the outdoor community bake oven and performances on the park's outdoor stage by groups from the Edithvale Community Centre. The new park features junior and senior playground structures along with paved and lit pathways.
