Governments and local youth groups celebrate the opening of the Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre multi-purpose youth space
City of Toronto Councillor Michelle Berardinetti (Ward 35 Scarborough Southwest), who will be representing Mayor Rob Ford, will be joined by MP Roxanne James (Scarborough Centre), MPP Lorenzo Berardinetti (Scarborough Southwest), the African Canadian Legal Clinic (ACLC) and Build It to Suit Youth (BITSY) to officially open the multi-purpose youth space at the Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre.

Date: Friday, June 15
Time: 4 to 6 p.m. Remarks will start at 4 p.m.
Location: Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre, 2467 Eglinton Ave. E.

The multi-purpose space was jointly funded by the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario and the City of Toronto through the Recreational Infrastructure Canada (RInC) Program. The City of Toronto also received a contribution from the African Canadian Legal Clinic (ACLC) for the construction of the new space.
