City of Toronto to officially open Olive Square Park
  
Councillor John Filion (Ward 23 Willowdale) and City of Toronto staff will join members of the community to officially open the new Olive Square Park.

Date: Sunday, June 10
Time: 1 to 3 p.m. - remarks at 1:30 p.m.
Location: Olive Square Park, 5575 Yonge St.

The new park has been designed as an urban square to provide open space in an area that has a number of new residential highrises. Local residents were involved in the design of the park, which fronts onto Yonge Street and features landscaped and seating areas.
