Free social marketing summit for entrepreneurs and small businesses
Enterprise Toronto, in partnership with the engagement marketing software firm Constant Contact, will host a free Social Marketing Summit to provide businesses with expert advice on how to effectively use social marketing tools to drive business opportunities.

The summit will be held on Tuesday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at the Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr. It will feature tips and strategies from six industry professionals on how businesses can utilize a wide range of social media marketing tools to increase engagement and generate more business.

"Social media tools have created an unprecedented opportunity for business to expand their marketing reach," said Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the City's Economic Development Committee. "This event will show entrepreneurs and small businesses how to leverage social marketing tools to transform brand awareness and drive business growth."

Sessions include:
• Engagement Marketing: How Small Business Wins in a Socially Connected World presented by Lisa Kember, Regional Development Director, Constant Contact
• Never Make a Cold Call Again! Using LinkedIn to Find and Attract Customers presented by Anita Windisman, President, One of a Kind Marketing
• Facebook for Businesses - There's a lot to LIKE! presented by Darrell Keezer, CEO, Candybox Marketing
• Twitter Marketing: How the Heck do You Market Your Business with 140 Characters? presented by Lara Veltkamp, Chief Engagement Officer, Watershed Marketing
• Pinterest, Google+: What's Next for Social Media Marketing? presented by Jackie Ranahan, Creative Director, Mach One Communications
•The Crazy Little Secrets of Content Marketing presented by Sean Stephens, President, Treefrog Interactive.
