Toronto seminar on exporting into new markets - Hong Kong and China
Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the City of Toronto's Economic Development Committee, will provide opening remarks at a seminar on exporting. The seminar is presented by the City of Toronto and the Canada China Business Council.

Date: Thursday, November 8
Time: 8:15 a.m. to noon; remarks at 9 a.m.
Location: Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, 250 Yonge St., 35th floor

Seminar speakers will discuss how to export into Hong Kong and China. The speakers are Gloria Lo (Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office), Luc Fournier (Assistant Vice-President, Global Trade and Receivables Finance), HSBC's Tony Gostling (Director - Membership and Outreach, Canada China Business Council) and Todd Bissett (Partner, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP).

This event is free for Toronto businesses. A $50 registration fee applies for businesses located outside Toronto.
