Toronto's Market Gallery exhibition celebrates R.C. Harris
  
Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the City of Toronto's Economic Development Committee, will speak at the launch of an exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of Roland Caldwell Harris as Toronto's works commissioner.

Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (remarks at 6 p.m.)
Location: Market Gallery, 95 Front St. E. (second floor)
This gallery event is by invitation only and is not open to the general public.

The Market Gallery's new exhibition, “The Water Czar: R.C. Harris Works for Toronto, 1912-45,” will honour R. C. Harris’s career through archival photos, maps, plans and never-before-seen artifacts. The exhibit will be on display from September 15 to March 2. This exhibition is sponsored by international engineering firm CH2M HILL
