Event to celebrate the re-opening of Toronto's Matty Eckler Community Recreation Centre
  
Councillor Paula Fletcher (Ward 30 Toronto-Danforth) will be joined by City of Toronto staff and members of the community to celebrate the re-opening of Matty Eckler Community Recreation Centre.

Date: Saturday, October 13
Time: 1 to 4 p.m., remarks at 1 p.m.
Location: Matty Eckler Community Recreation Centre, 953 Gerrard St. E.

Community members are invited to a free barbecue, leisure swim and facility tours as part of Saturday's event. There will be arts and crafts for children.

The renovated community centre features a larger elevator serving all four floors, improved ventilation and cooling, a new exercise room and a computer room.
