Volunteers ready to plant 4,500 Trees Across Toronto
Councillor Norm Kelly (Ward 40 Scarborough Agincourt), Chair of the Parks and Environment Committee, will be joined by Councillor Chin Lee (Ward 41 Scarborough-Rouge River), the local ward councillor, to kick off the City of Toronto's 11th annual Trees Across Toronto city-wide planting event.

Date: Saturday, April 30
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Milliken Park, 5555 Steeles Ave. E.

Several hundred volunteers will gather in the park to plant a variety of native-species trees and shrubs, making a remarkable contribution to Toronto's urban forest in a single day. Plantings will also take place at two other park locations. More information is available at
