Volunteers play an essential role in supporting the delivery of community recreation services - from participating on advisory councils and reference groups to assisting staff with the delivery of sports and leisure club activities and special events. By volunteering their time and skills, they also provide increased opportunities for residents to get involved in their community.

At the reception, awards will be announced for Youth of the Year, Group of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.
