Gardiner Expressway lane restrictions for repair of light poles

A series of periodic lane restrictions will take place on the Gardiner Expressway in both directions between the Don River and Bathurst Street as the City of Toronto repairs the bases of light poles on the elevated section of the expressway.

The project will involve work at about 30 locations along the expressway, with lane restrictions affecting one section of the expressway at a time. Most of the work will be done between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. The work is scheduled to begin this evening, September 19, and the project is expected to be completed in November.

Information about road closures is available at
