City of Toronto to officially open new skateboard park in Etobicoke
  
Councillor Mark Grimes (Ward 6 Etobicoke-Lakeshore) and City of Toronto staff will join local
skateboarding enthusiasts Saturday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new skateboard park called Eighth Street Skate Spot. During the event, skateboarding instruction will be available to beginners.

Date: Saturday, July 16
Time: 10 a.m. to noon; official remarks at 10 a.m.
Location: Eighth Street Park, corner of Eighth Street and Birmingham Street, south Etobicoke
