City of Toronto honours Excellence in Volunteering
Councillor Jaye Robinson (Ward 25 Don Valley West), Chair of the Community Development and Recreation Committee, along with other members of Council and City of Toronto staff will participate in the Excellence in Volunteering Awards ceremony and a photo opportunity at City Hall.

Date: Friday, April 26
Time: 12:30 p.m.
Location: Members Lounge, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Awards will be presented to exceptional volunteers who have donated their time, energy and skills to enhance the lives of residents at the City of Toronto's 10 long-term care homes. Among the 28 individuals being honoured is a high school student who has given over 800 hours of service and a resident-volunteer who helps with bingo and is a strong advocate for his fellow residents.
