City of Toronto consulting with the public in review of limousine and tow truck industries
  
Members of the tow truck and the limousine industries, as well as the general public, are invited to attend public consultation sessions that begin tomorrow.

The Municipal Licensing and Standards (ML&S) division is undertaking comprehensive reviews of the tow truck and limousine industries. The purpose of the reviews is to address issues raised by the respective industries and the public.

Both reviews are to include an examination of bylaws, fees, driver and public safety, and consumer protection related to the industries.

Limousine industry consultation sessions
Tuesday, June 25: City Hall, Committee Room 4, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 26: Etobicoke Civic Centre, Main Boardroom, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Friday, June 28: Metro Hall, Room 310, 9 a.m. to noon

Tow truck industry consultation sessions
Tuesday, June 25: Scarborough Civic Centre, Committee Room 2, 1 to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, June 26: Metro Hall, Room 314, 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Friday, June 28: Etobicoke Civic Centre, Main Boardroom, 1 to 4 p.m.

Tow truck industry public consultation sessions
Tuesday, July 2: Scarborough Civic Centre, Council Chamber, 6 to 8 p.m.
Thursday, July 4: Etobicoke Civic Centre, Council Chamber, 6 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, July 9: North York Civic Centre, Council Chamber, 6 to 8 p.m.
Thursday, July 11: York Civic Centre, Council Chamber, 6 to 8 p.m.

Staff will report to the Licensing and Standards Committee this fall on the consultation findings.
