Mayor Ford to announce details of Austin-Toronto music business mission
Mayor Rob Ford will be joined by Councillor Gary Crawford (Ward 36 Scarborough Southwest), Councillor Josh Colle (Ward 15 Eglinton-Lawrence) and Councillor Doug Ford (Ward 2 Etobicoke North) to announce details around the City of Toronto's music business mission to Austin, Texas on October 3 and 4.

Date: Monday, September 30
Time: 3 p.m. (remarks at 3:10 p.m.)
Location: Mayor's Protocol Lounge, Toronto City Hall, Second Floor, 100 Queen St. W.

Toronto music industry representatives participating in this mission will also be in attendance, including Jeff Cohen, owner of Collective Concerts and Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern and Lee's Palace venues; Graham Henderson, President, Music Canada; Michael Hollett, Founder and Director of the North By Northeast Festival (NXNE); Mike Tanner, NXNE Manager of Communications/Operations, and Amy Terrill, Vice President of Public Affairs, Music Canada.

Additional Toronto music industry mission supporters in attendance today will include
Charles Cutts, President and CEO, the Corporation of Massey and Roy Thomson Hall; Riley O'Connor, Chairman of Live Nation Canada; and John May, Executive Vice President of Live Nation Canada.
