Runners and walkers ready for Sunday's Toronto Challenge
  
Runners and walkers of all ages will participate in Sunday's 22nd annual Toronto Challenge presented by MonsterMortgage.ca.

Date: Sunday, June 9
Times: 9 a.m. aerobic warmup; 9:30 a.m. race start; 10:30 a.m. awards
Location: David Pecaut Square, Metro Hall, 55 John St.

This fun-filled family event raises awareness and funds to enhance life for residents in Toronto's long-term care homes and to fund more than 50 community agencies that provide support to seniors across the city.

Registration will also be available on race day from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in Metro Hall. The event consists of the MonsterMortgage.ca 5-km run, the Nissan Canada Foundation 5-km walk and the Medical Pharmacies 1-km walk.

The Toronto Challenge is the premier annual fundraising event for the City of Toronto's Long-Term Care Homes and Services. The division is a leader in excellence and ground-breaking services for healthy aging, with a commitment to care.
