City of Toronto and community partners host Scarborough Youth Festival
  
The City of Toronto's Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division will present a daylong festival celebrating youth dedication, passion, leadership skills and contributions to the community. The City of Toronto is working in partnership with Elite Music Academy, Scarborough Ice Raiders Hockey Club and Unity Charity.

Date: Saturday, June 1 (rain or shine)
Time: 1 to 7 p.m.
Location: Albert Campbell Square, 150 Borough Dr.

The celebration will include entertainment by breakdancers, spoken word artists and musicians. Admission is free.

Parks, Forestry and Recreation is offering information about youth-oriented programs, including dance and karate. There will be demonstrations by the Toronto Lacrosse Club and the Air Cadets, and information tables with representatives from Youth Link, Public Health and Stars Lacrosse
