Mayor Ford and seniors to launch Toronto Challenge on Monday
  
Mayor Rob Ford, Nick Ametrano, Vice President of MonsterMortgage.ca, residents of Bendale Acres and other guests will launch the Toronto Challenge presented by MonsterMortgage.ca. This family event raises funds for non-profit organizations that improve the quality of life for seniors in the community.

Date: Monday, May 6
Time: 2 to 3 p.m.
Location: Bendale Acres, 2920 Lawrence Ave. E.

People may register for a 5km run, a 5km walk or a 1km walk.

The Toronto Challenge takes place on Sunday, June 9, starting at 9:30 a.m. at David Pecaut Square, Metro Hall, 55 John St.

The Toronto Challenge is co-ordinated by Long-Term Care Homes & Services, leaders in excellence and ground-breaking services for healthy aging, with a commitment to care.
