Battle of York day events to be highlighted at meeting of Toronto's Economic Development Committee
  
The Economic Development Committee will hear about the events organized by the City of Toronto and the Canadian Forces to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of York. The Battle of York was fought on April 27, 1813.

Date: Tuesday, March 5
Time: 9:45 a.m.
Location: Committee Room 1, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

In addition, Sandra Shaul, manager of the City of Toronto Bicentennial Commemoration of the War of 1812, along with Lea Parrell and Randy VanDerStarren of Harmony Marketing, will give a presentation about Toronto's War of 1812 Bicentennial program.
