City of Toronto gets ready for the winter season – on and under city streets
  
The City of Toronto’s Transportation Services Division is getting ready for the return of winter. Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong (Ward 34 Don Valley East), Chair of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, will be present to discuss the City’s plans for winter operations in 2013/2014. Toronto Water staff will be present to discuss watermain breaks.

Location: Works Yard, 433 Eastern Ave.

Note to editors/photo editors: Some of the City’s snow-clearing equipment will be available for photographs, as will samples of old watermains and equipment for repairing watermain breaks.
