Closure of bridge at Kennedy Road

Kennedy Road is closed, from Raleigh Avenue to Park Street (at the approaches to the bridge), to allow city staff to inspect the safety of the bridge. The bridge is still open to pedestrians.

The bridge has been closed to traffic as a precautionary measure while crews undertake repairs on the structure.

The bridge will remain closed until shoring has been put in place and it is safe to open. It is expected that it will re-open on Friday, December 6.
