City to Host 12th anniversary STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase
City of Toronto staff will join a group of talented youth as they take centre stage at the 12th annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase. The event offers high-calibre performances that incorporate various styles of urban dance, such as step, b-boy, break, hip hop, dancehall, jazz and contemporary.

Date: Sunday, June 2
Time: 1 to 6 p.m.
Location: Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, 1 Front St. E. (at Yonge St.)

The 12th anniversary STOMP Urban Dance Competition/ Showcase will feature more than 427 performers aged six to 24 years from Parks, Forestry and Recreation dance programs and other youth-serving agencies. It is one of many youth initiatives developed by Parks, Forestry and Recreation to foster an environment where youth are safe, celebrated and encouraged to showcase their artistic creativity.
