Media Advisory - Weston-Mount Dennis neighbourhood to celebrate Recipe for Community project
The City of Toronto and Rahul Bhardwaj, President and CEO of the Toronto Community Foundation, will join residents of the Weston-Mount Dennis community to celebrate the Recipe for Community project. Also attending will be Laurie-Shawn Borzovoy, Board Chair of UrbanArts, and a representative from the community. The celebration will include bicycle repair programs, mural art, vegetable and flower plantings and a family movie screening.

Date: Thursday, July 18
Time: Noon to 4:30 p.m. (Remarks at 2 p.m.)
Location: Outside the Weston Towers, 1765-1775 Weston Rd.

Recipe for Community involves neighbourhood residents in an effort to improve their sense of belonging and safety through civic engagement, food, community gathering and neighbourhood beautification.
