Toronto event to launch EMS Week 2013
Join Toronto Emergency Medical Services (EMS) employees and members of EMS services from across the Greater Toronto Area on Tuesday for the launch of EMS Week 2013. Participating with Toronto EMS are Dufferin County EMS, Durham, York and Niagara Region EMS, Halton Region Paramedic Service, and the Hamilton Paramedic Service.

Toronto EMS Chief Paul Raftis will welcome visitors and read the EMS Week mayoral proclamation at noon, followed by a medical rescue demonstration by paramedics.

Date: Tuesday, May 21
Time: Displays and demonstrations from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Official remarks and rescue skill demonstration at noon.
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.
