City of Toronto international student festival at David Pecaut Square
Councillor Chin Lee (Ward 41 Scarborough-Rouge River) will help the City of Toronto launch the second annual International Students Festival tomorrow.

Date: Saturday, September 28
Time: 1 to 6 p.m., remarks at 1:45 p.m.
Location: David Pecaut Square, 55 John St.

This free event will feature food, entertainment, information booths and excellence awards.

Toronto is Canada's largest centre for international students with more than 30,000 enrolled in post-secondary institutions around Toronto. The festival celebrates and recognizes the contribution of international students to the economic and cultural development of Toronto.

This festival is produced by the City in partnership with 25 Ontario colleges and universities with support from sponsors: the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. CIBC, Rogers Communications, the Greater Toronto Airport Authority and Tim Hortons.
