Media Advisory/Photo Op: Mayor to proclaim National Non-Smoking Week
  
Mayor Mel Lastman will join Councillors Joe Mihevc and Michael Tziretas, and
Dr. Sheela Basrur, Medical Officer of Health, at Toronto East General Hospital
to mark Weedless Wednesday, January 23. Also attending this event will be
Gordon Swayze, whose generous contribution in memory of his late wife Ruby
established the Ruby Swayze Smoking Cessation Clinic.

This event will highlight Toronto's participation in National Non-Smoking Week
(January 20 to 27). Baby bibs promoting smoke-free homes will be presented to
mothers and their newborns after a brief presentation by the mayor and
councillors.

Ruby Swayze Smoking Cessation Clinic, 825 Coxwell Ave.
