Media Advisory: Sakura Project donates 220 trees to Toronto Parks and Recreation
  
Parks & Recreation - Members of the media are invited to attend a Sakura
Project presentation of Japanese flowering cherry trees to the City of Toronto.
Takashi Kozeuka, Consul General of Japan, and Councillor Doug Holyday (Ward 3
Etobicoke Centre) will commemorate this gracious gift with a ceremonial tree
planting.

This year's planting sites include 100 trees at Broadacres Park (Burnhamthorpe
Road and The West Mall) and 120 trees at Centennial Park (one block west of
Renforth Drive and Rathburn Road).

Date: Monday, November 25

Time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Location: Centennial Park Snow Centre, 256 Centennial Pk. Rd.
(one block west of Renforth Drive and Rathburn
Road)
