Cook-off and beer show take over the St. Lawrence Market on Father's Day weekend
The St. Lawrence Market is hosting a three-day party from June 14 to 16 to
celebrate the tastes of summer. Live entertainment, a barbecue cook-off and a
craft beer show highlight the Father's Day weekend activities.

Ten professional barbecue teams from across North America will compete for
bragging rights to the best sauce, chicken and ribs. Crazy Canuck, Mzz Lucille
New Orleans BBQ, Milwaukee's, the Purple Pig and Armadillo Texas Grill make up
Canada's contingent.

Visitors can sample the tasty food from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on June 14 and 15
and from
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 16. As well, visitors can sample the flavours of more
than 30 different brands of craft brewed beer and learn about beer-making
traditions and innovations.

Admission to the grounds is free. For more information, visit or call

The St. Lawrence Market is located at 95 Front St. E. at Jarvis Street. Parking
is available at the Toronto Parking Authority, located at the bottom of Market
